If you develop software to support academic research, we’d like to hear from you!

CANARIE is pleased to announce the launch of the second survey of those who develop software to support academic research in Canada.

This survey is being conducted with the assistance of the UK Software Sustainability Institute (software.ac.uk) and is being launched simultaneously with similar surveys in several other countries. The survey will close September 28 2018.

Research Software Developer Survey

The purpose of this survey is to collect data that will help guide the direction of CANARIE’s Research Software program to best support Canadian researchers. You might be a full-time developer, a researcher, a postdoc, or a student. Your title doesn’t matter. If you develop software to support academic research, we’d like to hear from you! As a small token of our appreciation for your time, the first 100 Canadian research software developers to complete the survey will each receive a $20 Amazon.ca gift card.

The survey is hosted in Canada and respects the provisions of CANARIE’s privacy policy. Only aggregate results will be published and no personally identifiable information will ever be shared or published. The contact information you provide to receive a gift card will not be associated with your survey responses.
